Lake Lure cottage has over 1,000 square feet of living space on two levels separated into three large bedrooms, providing much more space than a typical Lake Lure cabin rental. There is a master bedroom on the main level and two bedrooms on the second floor. The first floor master bedroom has a queen size bed. The upstairs large bedroom contains a queen size bed with small deck with views of Lake Lure and the cove. The other second floor bedroom has two twin size beds with ample closet space. The first and second floor both have a full sized bathroom with tub and shower. The kitchen, living room with large stone fireplace and eating area are all located on the first floor. The cottage will sleep up to six people comfortably with a sleeper sofa providing a sleep area for two additional persons.
The kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, pot and pans, and dishes. There is a stove, dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator. The cottage has a color TV and DVD player with cable, along with a wood burning fireplace.
On the exterior of the cottage, there is a deck outfitted with loungers and a swinging chair, perfect for relaxation and enjoying the view of Snug Cove and the main channel of Lake Lure.
Debuting in the Spring of 2005, the boathouse will be completed and ready for enjoyment. The boathouse includes a large deck overlooking the lake with rocking chairs and lounging space. Above the boathouse and up a spiral staircase is a party deck with jumping platform for the enjoyment of thrill seeking kids and adults alike. Stairs and an incline make an easy return to the boathouse.
