Unlike most Lake Lure cabin rentals, Lake Lure cottage is available for rental year
round. During the summer months, a minimum stay of one
week is required. We are flexible in our bookings, and
can accommodate multiple starting days. During the off-season, shorter
stays are possible as well as long-term rentals. The cottage can
provide one of the best Lake Lure lodging experiences available.
Naturally, the busiest time of year at Lake Lure is from Memorial Day weekend
through Labor Day weekend, though the Fall color change brings in a far amount of leaf watchers, so please make your plans well in advance.
Below are our current rates. If you are interested in longer stays, please contact us for pricing.
- Fall (9/1 - 12/31)
$1,050/week or $150/night with 3 night minimum.
- Winter: (1/1 - 3/31)
$1,500/month or $125/night with 3 night minimum.
- Spring: (4/1 - 5/15)
$1,000/week or $150/night with 3 night minimum.
- Summer: (5/15 - 8/31)
$1,200/week with 7 day minimum.
The rental period is a 1:00 PM Saturday arrival through 11:00 AM Saturday departure.
A 50% rental deposit and a refundable $300 security deposit is required to make a reservation. Full payment for confirmed reservations is due 30 days prior to arrival (Sorry, no credit cards). If full payment is not received by check-in, the keys will not be provided to the cabin. A 10% tax will be applied to all rates. A $50 cleaning fee is necessary in advance for all confirmed rentals. As necessary and sufficient time available, a North Carolina rental agreement will be provided and signed before renting the cottage.
Rental Deposit Refund: (1) No rental deposit refund will be provided within 30 days of confirmed reservation dates. Every opportunity to obtain another or substitute renter for this same time period will be exercised.
Rental Deposit Refund (No Show): (2) No rental deposit refund will be provided if renter fails to honor confirmed reservation dates.
A reservation confirmation will be provided by e-mail, phone, or in writing within 14 days after reservation and receipt of deposits.
Linens and towels are not provided so please bring your own, including extra towels for the lake. No inside smoking and no pets please.
As a courtesy, Mountain Lake Realty will provide a key to Snug Cove Cottage. Mountain Lake Realty is located on highway 64/74A, less than 1 mile from Snug Cove Cottage. Any major problems with the cottage can also be reported to Mountain Lake Realty or call (828) 625-2222 during normal working hours seven days a week. Any suggestions or improvement should be reported directly to the owners, Pat and Joan. On departure, please return the key to Mountain Lake Realty and any comments or problems.
